About us

The energy storage department of Amminex is dedicated to developing the solutions for using the solid ammonia as energy carrier for both high and low temperature fuel cells. The focus of our research and development activity is to develop systems around the industrially produced ammonia storage units for enabling ammonia as energy carrier. Our work involve catalyst development, equipment design and testing and system integration.

Our endeavour is not only to provide a power generation technology that is environmentally sustainable but also to make the technology economically competitive to the existing polluting and noisy solutions for power generation. Our laboratory is based at the headquarters of Amminex in Søborg, Denmark.
